1. Successful Outcome Statement

What would your best year yet look like to you?

Success Outcome Example…

I have a successful property development business with a good mixture of refurbishments, property flips, rental portfolios, and new builds. Since the lockdown, I have attracted several new high net worth investors and continued this trend throughout the year. I have also reinvested in my business with the addition of 2 new staff members joining my team.

Imagine you are sitting twelve months from now and writing down what has happened, visualize the most successful business and the most successful you.

What has happened? What have you achieved? What does it look/sound/sound or feel like? What are others saying about you?

Now write a descriptive paragraph (no more than 60 to 80 words) *

2. Your Core Values

Your values are your G.P.S. navigation system for life and business. Getting them defined and properly calibrated is one of the essential steps in redirecting your energy toward your grandest vision. The following series of questions will help you evaluate and refine what is truly important to you and what matters most in life.

These are only examples; you may have values that are not listed, but that’s ok.

Remember to prioritise your values in order of importance, with the most important first, you can move them around until you identify you’re most important and work back.

All are important, of course, but which are the most important?

If you had to choose between two values, which would you fight for, or even die defending?

My Top 5 Core Values Are:

1st Core Value *

2nd Core Value *

3rd Core Value *

4th Core Value *

5th Core Value *

Be proud of your core values: This is your business culture.

It’s what makes your company one of a kind, beyond your products and services. It’s your reputation; the qualities people think of when they think of you.

3. Guiding Principles

The Definition:

A rule or principle that guides appropriate behaviours that delivers more accomplishments and fewer disappointments.

“Those that do not learn from history are destined to make the same mistakes again!”

Guiding Principles are advice to ourselves, that leads to more good results and fewer bad results.

Examples:

1. Systems & Processes are an essential part of my business

2. Ensure everyone has a precise level of accountability

3. Always Have a Winning Plan.

No more than 3 principles and try to start with a verb, a doing word. Make them positive, memorable, and short.

Your Guiding Principles are:

1st Guiding Principle *

2nd Guiding Principle *

3rd Guiding Principle *

4. My New Empowering Belief

What do you want to start believing about yourself, a set of statements that enables you to move forward in life, and achieve your full potential

Examples:

  • Trying new things is how I learn, if I never fail I will never truly learn
  • I am a confident business owner who is excellent at what I do and how I do it
  • Never put off important things that I know drive value to me and my business

1st New Empowering Belief or Actions *

2nd New Empowering Belief or Actions *

5. My Annual Goals

Time to start setting our goals using the T.I.M.E.S Principles!

The human mind works at its best when presented with dominant thoughts based on clear goals.

T.I.M.E.S: Time-based , Inspirational, Measured, Engaging, Specific,

Why, T.I.M.E.S, because we don’t have TIME for non-productive goals.... Great T.I.M.E.S Goals are (outcome-focused, chunked up until you identify the actual goal or outcome)

Great T.I.M.E.S Goals are (outcome-focused, chunked up until you identify the actual goal or outcome)

It is more robust to word them as “outcome goals”, where you describe the WHAT it is that you ultimately want to achieve, rather than “process goals”, which typically represent how you will achieve them and are more task-driven.

What goals for each theme in the previous section would you like to work on or improve? What segmentation needs work, improvement, and focus to get you where you need to be?

These are level goals, your BIG goals for the next 12 months.

At this point, it’s about identifying the most important goals; I suggest you have 5 TOP business goals you would like to achieve in the next 12 months and or 1 or 2 personal goals.

6. Your 12-month Coaching Commitment Statement

And finally, one last thing to do.

Let’s make a commitment to yourself, your family, and your business growth.

What commitment are you willing to make to me, your family and your business to ensure you stay on track
and do what needs to be done?

Example:

At all times I will have a clear, robust, easy to follow the plan in place for Myself, My Family and My business
and always commit to my weekly, monthly and quarterly goals.

I will continually improve & tweak my coaching plan, ensuring that my goals & high payoff activities/actions
are reviewed regularly and that I am always working on the right actions. I will always look for ways to
free up my own time and stop procrastinating, enabling me to spend more time working on the business and looking for opportunities to grow my business.
